QLF’s Youth Volunteer Leadership Program is designed for high school students who wish to spend their summer in a meaningful way. An important part of the volunteer experience is living in a rural community, often with a host family, and engaging in daily-life interactions and activities. Volunteers may be involved in a range of QLF activities such as children's camps, sports, recreation, art, environmental education, or swimming programs. Projects usually last from three to eight weeks. Volunteers cover the cost of their own travel, food, and lodging. QLF will find and make the appropriate lodging arrangements in consultation with the Volunteer and host community.

Professional and Senior Volunteer positions may also become available. Please contact the QLF Internship Coordinator ( ) if you are interested in these opportunities.
