Introduction to Programs
Since its founding in 1961, the Quebec-Labrador Foundation has evolved and grown from its community-based origins in Atlantic Canada to a global organization that supports a range of local, regional, and international programs and initiatives. Over decades, QLF has built a reputation for empowering communities with knowledge and capacity to address environmental challenges, establishing expertise in the conservation and stewardship of natural resources and biodiversity.
QLF programs are led by senior staff and consultants, each with years of experience in cultivating and sustaining the vital partnerships that underpin our work and drive QLF’s mission. Several programs also benefit from the skills and dedication of university students who participate in QLF’s conservation internship program.
